buffedCast: #603 with WoW WotLK Classic, Dragonflight and Overwatch 2

buffedCast: #601 featuring WoW Dragonflight, WotLK Classic, Diablo 4, Amazon Games & She-Hulk

The waiting is going to end soon. With Wrath of the Lich King Classic, the retro version of WoW has now arrived at the most successful expansion in history. In buffedCast 603, Karsten and Phil talk about the fact that WotLK is still not a sure-fire success for Blizzard. Because there are still a few stumbling blocks that have to be cleared out of the way.

The same applies to the WoW: Dragonflight beta. The developers continue to show a high pace and the first test servers for the endgame are already online. Nevertheless, there are some points of criticism that need to be discussed. Including adjustments to the campaign and the way Blizzard distributes its beta keys.

In the end, the two still talk about Overwatch 2. Because that’s where the monetization model of the Free2Play shooter has now been presented. That’s a long way from the Pay2Win of Diablo Immortals, but neither of them think it’s really great. Biggest point of criticism: In a hero shooter, all players should always have all heroes available. But they don’t do that in Overwatch 2.
