Iron Man: EA Motive is working on a new game starring the popular Marvel hero

MarvelEntertainment and Motifs Studio have announced that a new game featuring the superhero iron man is in development. Some experienced developers are involved in the project, but it will still take a while until the release.

EA Motives last had the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Squadrons published and currently working on the remake of the first DeadSpacewhich was released on January 27, 2023 for personal computer, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S should appear.

Marvel: New Iron Man Game

At the new one Iron Man game it is therefore one Action Adventure for single player from the Third person perspective. Development guides Oliver Proulxwho previously attended among others Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was involved and therefore has experience in the field. Regarding the new task, Proulx said:

“It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to create a video game based on one of the most iconic superheroes in entertainment today, […] We have an amazing opportunity to create a new and unique story to call our own. Marvel encourages us to create something new. We have a lot of freedom, which is very appealing for the team.”

Bill Rosemanthe Vice President and Creative Director of Marvel Games also commented on the announced title:

“We’re thrilled to be working with the talented team at Motive Studio to realize their original vision of one of Marvel’s most important, powerful and beloved characters […] Her experience of delivering both established entertainment worlds and engaging gameplay – combined with her authentic passion for the armored icon – will fuel our quest to deliver a love letter to an iconic hero in the form of the ultimate Iron Man video game.”

When and for which platforms the new Iron Man game should appear is currently unclear. The title is currently in the pre productionso it will probably be a few years before it is published.
