Metal: Hellsinger: New creation mini-documentary released
The Making of Metal: Hellsinger: Behind the Music features exclusive interviews with the developers, composers and singers.
Metal: Hellsinger was released last week and received extremely positive reviews from press and players alike. Now publisher Funcom and developer The Outsiders are releasing a mini documentary about the making of the game.
It features exclusive interviews with the game’s developers, composers and some of the great singers.
Also featured in the documentary are Elvira Björkman and Nicklas Hjertberg of Two Feathers, composers of the Metal: Hellsinger soundtrack. They report on their work on the game and their performance at gamescom. There Metal: Hellsinger won the awards in the categories “Best Action Game” and “Most Wanted PC Game”.
David Goldfarb, Creative Director at The Outsiders, and Executive Producer Shila Vikström also feature in an interview. They talk about how the idea for Metal: Hellsinger came about and how they experienced the time leading up to the release.
In the rhythm FPS Metal: Hellsinger, players take on the role of a demon fighting her way out of Hell. They blast through their enemies to the original soundtrack, which was sung by heavy metal greats like Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Randy Blythe (Lamb of God). The better the beat is performed, the more intense the music becomes.
Metal: Hellsinger is available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S.
