PS Plus: Grab five free avatars – it’s ridiculously easy to do

If you want a free PlayStation avatar, all you have to do is watch a video and pay attention.

You can grab a free PlayStation avatar set from the official PlayStation Plus site. But not just like that, you have to look for Easter eggs in a special video. However, they are pretty easy to find, there are 18 of them and it is enough even if you only recognize one.

PlayStation Plus fans can now claim five free avatars

How it works: To get the free avatar set, you need to click the PS Plus page with what’s new walk. Then scroll down a little bit. There you will currently find an area called “The PlayStation Plus Easter Egg Challenge”.

Below the explanation you will find the button “Start search” and if you select it, the video will start. You can pause this if you spot an item or anything else that strikes you as suspicious. Click on the spot in the video.

Then you can see on the right whether you were right. If it is a specific reference to a certain game, this will be indicated. But there are also more general Easter eggs in the video, which you can participate in a small vote if you discover them.

What are those Easter eggs? If you don’t want to spoil the fun, you might want to stop reading here. But don’t worry: You should actually recognize most Easter eggs right away, they are not too difficult to hide or thought of around the corner.

For example, there would be an astronaut helmet, a dinosaur machine from Horizon Zero Dawn or one or the other special mask that you can discover. All you need to do to get the exclusive avatar set is find a single Easter egg, and we’re confident you can do it.
