Square Enix’s epic strategy RPG, The DioField Chronicle, is out now and is being celebrated with a launch trailer.

Square Enix releases the brand new strategy RPG The DioField Chronicle for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

The DioField Chronicle features an in-depth, strategic, real-time combat system, also known as “Real-Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB), in which players and enemy troops move in real time and the course of battle can take dramatic turns in the blink of an eye. The tale takes place in a unique world, with a dark and suspenseful story that mixes fantasy with medieval and modern elements.

Players can also download a free demo version for all platforms. Save data from the demo, including game progress and character levels, will be carried over to the full version, allowing them to seamlessly continue their missions with the Blue Foxes mercenary force once they’ve purchased the game.

The demo spans the beginning of the game through the end of the first chapter and features fast-paced and action-packed combat in which you command small troops in various combat types. Each one of them takes on a unique role on the battlefield.

The DioField Chronicle was developed by Square Enix in partnership with Lancarse Ltd. developed by a team of experienced strategy game developers. The Diofield Chronicle features unique character designs by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), artwork by Isamu Kamikokuryo (FINAL FANTASY XII, FINAL FANTASY XIII), and beautiful orchestral scores by world-renowned composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, who composed the game’s soundtrack of Thrones are known.
