The Elder Scrolls: Board Game Announced for Spring 2023 – News

In March 2023, the Poland-based crowdfunding platform gamefound the board game The Elder Scrolls – Betrayal of the Second Era released. It is therefore set in The Elder Scrolls universe and is a cooperative gaming experience for one to four players.

Betrayal of the Second Era is based on games by Chip Theory, such as Too Many Bones. The game is about exploration, character development and combat in one of Tamriel’s Interregnum provinces. This is the time between the end of the Second Empire and the proclamation of the Third Empire by Tiber Septim, and thus the very time that also The Elder Scrolls Online plays. The game should be made of very high-quality materials, similar to the Chip Theory title that has already been released. Playmats made of neoprene or similar material, which were also used for previous titles, can be seen in the pictures that have been published.
