Fortnite will receive new Iron Man skins according to leak

Fortnite appears to be getting another Iron Man variant skin soon, as well as some additional accessories, new leaks have suggested.

This latest Marvel skin called “Iron Man Zero” is reportedly part of the cosmetic collection that ties into the Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War comics, marking the second major crossover series between Fortnite and the expansive Marvel Universe.

The idea is that this skin will be available for free to those who have read all the comics through the Marvel Unlimited service, but supposedly the skin will also be available in the in-game store.

Check out the new Iron Man cosmetics below, courtesy of Fortnite data miner iFireMonkey, who shared a series of images showing off the Iron Man Zero cosmetic set, as well as a loading screen. Things like a weapon casing, as well as a spike that exists as a bladed gauntlet on Iron Man Zero’s arm were also detected thanks to data mining efforts.

While not fully confirmed at this time, players are suspecting that this Iron Man Zero skin is the one that Marvel and Epic Games plan to give away to those who have read all of the Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War comics through Marvel Unlimited.

That’s Marvel’s paid comic book subscription service, and ever since these new stories started rolling out, Marvel has been announcing that readers will get codes for five different pre-release cosmetics or accessories once the final issue is out and complete. Those codes would also include one that could be redeemed for a yet-to-be-revealed “Bonus Outfit,” so based on these leaks, players are pretty sure the bonus cosmetic will be Iron Man Zero.
