Slime Rancher 2: 100,000 sales in under six hours

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

The newly released Early Access version of Slime Rancher 2 managed to reach 100,000 sales in less than six hours.

The Early Access version of Slime Rancher 2 has been available since Friday and lets players explore the mysteries of Rainbow Island as Beatrix LeBeaue. The game principle known from the first part is included in a new environment as well as well-known and completely new slimes.

Like Monomi Park CEO Nick Popovich in one Twitter post announced, Slime Rancher 2 was able to achieve 100,000 sales within the first six hours. For him, this great success is like fulfilling a dream:

“I had a pipe dream in my head that if we were lucky we could sell 100,000 copies of Slime Rancher 2 in the first 24 hours. And we did it in less than 6 hours. I have no idea where this crazy train is going, but I’m so grateful to have the chance to ride it. Thank you all.”

Slime Rancher 2 is available via Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and via the cloud. PC players can find the Early Access version on the Epic Game Store.
