Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II: New Raid mode aims to be like Destiny but with more tactics

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

The new raid mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is compared to Destiny, only with more tactics.

At the Call of Duty Next event almost two weeks ago, Activision focused heavily on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer, where a new raid mode was also announced.

Information about the three-player raid mode was sparse. Officials said it will be available after the launch of the shooter and will focus on teamwork and strategic puzzle-solving alongside intense combat.

Sources are said to Insider Tom Henderson told you a bit more about the new mode. Including the information that there will be two puzzles. One puzzle has to do with numbers, the second with a water maze.

One of the sources compared it to Destiny’s raids, only with more tactics.

Dataminers also found the three missions “Numbers Puzzle”, “Water Maze” and “Incursion” in the Modern Warfare II beta. Found images also give the impression that the raids are taking place on unique maps.
