Intel Raptor Lake-S: Four models listed on Amazon, significantly more expensive than Alder Lake
Four Core 13000 processors from Intel’s Raptor Lake S family have been listed on Amazon UK. If the prices mentioned are real, players will have to be prepared for a price jump with the new generation.
While AMD will launch the first Ryzen 7000 processors this week, Intel will have to be patient. The new Raptor Lake processors (Intel Core 13000) are said to be presented on Tuesday, but the release period was last mentioned as the second half of October. The first dealers are apparently already preparing for the launch of the new Intel CPUs.
Raptor Lake-S on Amazon
At least leaks from the well-known Twitter user @momomo_us speak for this. This has published images of the new packaging designs of Raptor Lake-S. He also posted a screenshot online showing that the Core i9-13900KF, Core i7-13700K, Core i7-13700KF and Core i5-13600KF processors can be found on Amazon UK recently. Of course, these models were not in stock, and accordingly one could not buy them. The listing at least confirms that Amazon is already working on the corresponding product pages. It might be the same for other retailers.

In addition, one can possibly infer the later prices of Intel’s Raptor Lake-S from the listings. On Amazon UK, the Core i9-13900KF was offered for the equivalent of around 833 euros, and the Core i7-13700K was asked for 608 euros. The same model without a GPU was listed for €574, and the Intel Core i5-13600KF costs around €389 according to Amazon UK. Compared to the prices in Germany, potential import fees and a slightly different value added tax (20 instead of 19 percent) must be taken into account.

If if the values mentioned are real prices, at least the rough direction should be clear. According to Techpowerup, the four CPUs in England cost between £80 and £140 more than their predecessors. The price increase for the Intel Core i7-13700KF is said to be around 30 percent. That would be an even bigger difference than recently mentioned in the rumor mill. However, it should be noted that the British pound, like the euro, has lost value. This alone makes US products, such as Intel’s new processors, a bit more expensive.
