New leak for the upcoming Avatar game – another dealer lists Quest for Balance

We may soon have the opportunity to relive the story of Aang, Katara and Sokka in a whole new way.

The game “Avatar The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance”, which was leaked on Amazon Japan in August, has reappeared. The website Gamefly.com recently listed the game, which has not yet been officially announced. In general, Gamefly offers games for all platforms, either for sale or for rent.

A role-playing game set in the Avatar universe

According to an older leak, the game for the popular anime is probably an RPG, although the retailer Gamefly has so far listed it as an action-adventure. The art style should be visually in the direction of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it shouldn’t be an open world game.

What’s the matter? According to the site CBR.com is about stories told by some members of the Order of the White Lotus, an educated brotherhood. The tales of Avatar Aang are arguably retold by the slightly insane King Bumi, the waterbender master Pakku, and the quirky yet wise General Iroh. In terms of content, the series with books I to III should serve as a template. Due to the perhaps not quite as reliable narrators, there may still be one or the other surprise for fans.

The leaked platforms and release

There should already be information about the platforms and even a release date for “Avatar The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance”. The game for the anime is supposed to be released on November 8, 2022 for the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch. With this date, Gamefly also confirms the release date originally appeared on Amazon Japan.

As always with leaks, however, all this information should be treated with caution. An official announcement by publisher GameMill Entertainment is still pending.

A game based on the popular anime series is almost certain.

A little refresher on the story

The series is generally about a world where four nations live together in harmony. The nations are the Fire Nation, the North and South Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom and the Air Nomads. As their names suggest, some residents of each nation can tame, that is, control and shape, their respective element.

However, only the eponymous avatar, who is always reborn, can tame all four elements. With this power, he or she is said to bring balance to the world. At the beginning of the anime’s story, however, it has been gone for 100 years and the world has fallen apart during this time. Now it’s time, in keeping with the title of the game, to restore the balance and save this world.

There is also a sequel seriesit’s called the “Legend of Korra” and takes place about 70 years after the events of “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, according to the German title.
