WoW WotLK Classic: In which zone with which level in Northrend? Overview in the guide

This is the overview: There are various areas on the Northrend continent where you can level up. The starting areas are Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord. But how does it continue and which area should you go to with which level?

We show you in the overview where you should level up and when.

Northrend: Where to with which level in WoW Classic?

Here you should level up: The level recommendations are from-to ranges. If you’re just over or just under, you can still collect XP there. However, there are certain quests that only unlock at certain levels. Also, if you are well above the recommended level, the mobs are often so far below your level that they give little XP.

Level Recommendations in Northrend:

• Howling Fjord: Level 68-72
• Borean Tundra: Level 68-72
• Dragonblight: Level 71-75
• Grizzly Hills: Level 73-75
• Zul’Drak: Levels 74-76
• Sholazar Basin: Level 76-78
• Storm Peak: Levels 77-80
• Crystalsong Forest: Level 77-80
• Icecrown: Level 77-80

You need to know: There are areas that have overlapping level requirements. You can go straight to the Dragonblight at level 71 or continue in the starting areas. You could skip the Grizzly Hills entirely. A lot is up to you.

The Crystalsong Forest, Icecrown, and Storm Peaks end zones also overlap. It depends on your personal preferences where you like to level. This can be related to the type of opponent or the optics. There are few quests for you in Crystalsong Forest. Dalaran hovers over the forest. Every now and then you will be sent into the forest, but the actual endgame quests are then in Icecrown and in the Storm Peaks. For later reputation quests, it can be worthwhile to quest through all of the areas later.
