Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Update 1.6.1 brings exciting new content

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Final Story DLC is coming later this year

Today, September 27, 2022, fans of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can enjoy the latest update. Version 1.6.1 not only brings improvements but also completely new content.

Anyone who still loves to stay in the Ubisoft adventure two years after its release can of course be happy about the usual bug fixes and improvements. Much more exciting are, of course, content and game extensions that are intended to provide new incentives and variety. We present the most important ones below, the complete list is available on the corresponding page website by Ubisoft.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Tombs of the Fallen Pack 2 and more

One of the most important additions to the main game is without a doubt the second Tombs of the Fallen pack. This means that three new diggers have entered the game world, which should bring the corresponding quest line to a fitting end. You have to avoid traps and solve puzzles to uncover the secrets of a lost civilization. The new tombs are scattered across England and are playable from the moment you unlock Ravensthorpe.

The settlements are also expanded. Among other things, it is now possible to build a so-called rune forge. But first Ravensthorpe has to be brought to level 4. You can then convert the advantages of the equipment into runes for silver. Runes, in turn, can be sold for silver. Very important: The Forge does not support items from the previous expansion packs for AC: Valhalla.

There will also be free rewards to celebrate 15 years of Assassin’s Creed. There will be an AC15 settlement pack and a new tattoo set for the occasion, which can be obtained through Ubisoft Connect. And finally, the Oskoreia Festival returns as a limited-time event: From October 20th to November 10th, you can defend your settlement against evil spirits while trying out and receiving new activities, quests, and lots of new rewards.
