FIFA 23: Server down, game shows “Unable to connect” – What does EA say?

In FIFA 23 the servers are down on September 27th, 2022. Players are currently unable to use the game’s online modes. EA reported on this on Twitter.

FIFA 23 servers down: Anyone who wants to log into Ultimate Team in FIFA 23 will only get an error message: The EA servers are currently unavailable and you should try later. One should visit the EA website for more information.

Under the “unable to connect” area you can track the server status for various EA games – but this is not currently the case with FIFA 23. There is currently no official solution to the server issues.

What does EA say? EA reported the problems via Twitter on the “FIFA Direct Communication” channel. We are currently investigating issues with players being unable to log into the servers. More information will follow as soon as it becomes available.

FIFA 23 Online Modes, Web App, Companion Report Server Trouble

What’s not working in FIFA 23 right now? No connection to the EA servers can take place, so modes such as Ultimate Team are currently unavailable. Also, if you want to log in to FIFA 23 in the web app, you get an error message. The companion app is also affected.
