Grounded leaves preliminary version and is now officially available

After several years in preliminary version, the official release is here. The Grounded team is proud to announce that the game has now reached its full version.

Having launched Game Preview/Early Access in July 2020 with just a taste of what the game would be like today, the full backyard experience is waiting for players to explore.

Two years ago when grounded entered Game Preview/Early Access, there were six biomes to explore and 14 creatures to interact with. Now, with the full “1.0” release, there are 13 biomes, three of which have had massive overhauls, 44 creatures including the giant koi fish and bird, and a host of features to flesh out the game.

Grounded has been built together with our community all the way. Each update improved the game mechanics, added new features, and expanded the playground based on the feedback and suggestions the community shared with us. With each update, the community has been invited along Grounded’s development journey, and now we’re celebrating together with our 1.0 release. And with a good celebration, the team behind Grounded has a few surprises in store for everyone.

Grounded is available today on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11, and Steam for $39.99, and is also available with Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta).
