The hardware fall is getting really hot, as Nvidia has announced new products with the RTX 4000, AMD with the Ryzen 7000 and Intel with the Raptor Lake. Alienware has now presented the Aurora R15, a desktop PC with new hardware.

In the last few days, new hardware products have been coming out in quick succession. Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang started a hot autumn with the Geforce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards. The new CPUs from AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series have also been available for a few days. In addition, Intel has presented its counterpart called Raptor Lake aka Core 13000. With the Aurora R15 there is now a complete PC from Alienware with brand new hardware.

What does the Alienware Aurora R15 offer?

Based on the Legend 2.0 tower case, the Dell subsidiary has created the new Aurora R15. In order to ensure sufficient cooling, there is now a radiator with 240 mm instead of 120 mm in the housing. If you want, you can also get the desktop PC air-cooled. There are five fans, each 120 mm, in the case. The equipment starts with the Intel Core i5 13600K, other CPUs from Intel are also possible for an additional charge, up to the Core i9 13900KF. In the basic model, only eight gigabytes of DDR5 RAM are at work. Dual-channel RAM with up to 64 gigabytes is available for a surcharge. If you want, you can get the new RTX 4090 as an option, and the entry-level models have an RTX 3050 or a Radeon RX 6500 XT.

Depending on the configuration, Alienware installs either a 750 watt power supply or a 1,350 watt power supply. The Americans have lent a hand with the Z790 mainboard and are installing a specially designed piece. The PCI Express x16 slot is placed as close as possible to the CPU socket. So there should be more space in the 58.9 cm long, 22.5 wide and 51 cm high case for graphics cards. It is still unclear what the Aurora R15 will cost.
