Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard: Movie adaptation trailer is here

Now even clearer: This is the most successful film of all time! (1)

The court case between Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was probably watched by millions of people worldwide. The US hasn’t made enough of a spectacle out of the domestic violence scandal, however, and Fox Entertainment thinks there is still some capital to be made from the drama. The streaming service Tubi, which belongs to Fox, therefore only recently announced a film about the court case, which of course had to be produced as quickly as possible so that the presumably dwindling interest of the audience can still be captured.

First trailer for the film adaptation of the court case Depp vs. Heard

The verdict was not pronounced until June of this year, but tomorrow, September 30, 2022, the film adaptation “Hot Take The Depp / Heard Trial” is to be released in the USA. We already know the cast of actors who will be stepping into the roles of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, and a new trailer released by Tubi gives us our first glimpse at the performances of the talents who have signed on to star in the film.

“Hot Take” doesn’t just want to limit itself to the already known material in court, but also sheds light on the lives of the two actors outside of the trial. We’ll probably find out tomorrow whether the film will be successful with this, when the film is released on Tubi. The streaming service is currently not available in Germany, so it is not yet known whether “Hot Take” will also be released in this country. However, it’s safe to assume that Hot Take won’t be the only film about the court case.
