PlayStation Direct has already sold the PS5 twice in September. But many also think a 3rd drop this month is possible. Is the FIFA 23 bundle still coming?

Hamburg – PlayStation Direct, Sony’s in-house factory outlet, has been able to make hungry PS5 hunters happy twice in September. But a third time is still possible. The community is currently assuming that there could actually be another September drop. The reason for this is a new official bundle from Sony and the release of FIFA 23. What are the chances of a third sale this month?

Buying a PS5 from PlayStation Direct: is the 3rd action coming in September?

When was the last time you could buy the PS5 from PlayStation Direct? In September, PlayStation Direct has already held two sales – on September 12th and September 19th, both times with both a closed invitation-based sale and an open sale for all interested parties. Bundles and the “naked” console were for sale.

What is the current status of PS5 supplies on PlayStation Direct? Even if there were already two drops in September – a third time is definitely still possible and would be anything but pulled out of thin air. Because FIFA 23 is celebrating its release this week, Sony is offering a new official PS5 bundle with the new FIFA – the perfect time to bring it to the people.

Some retailers such as MediaMarkt, Saturn or Spielgrotte have already sold it. And Sony should hardly forget itself when delivering the bundles. So it would be very surprising if Sony itself didn’t go along with the FIFA release this week. Fresh invitations haven’t been sent out yet, but the FIFA release week still has a few days left.

In short: Pay close attention to PlayStation Direct this week and keep a closer eye on your inbox, including the spam folder. There could actually be a September 3 drop here.

The disc version of the bundle costs €619.99, the bundle with the PS5 Digital Edition €519.99. Both are already listed on PlayStation Direct and, according to the description, will apparently be exclusively available there – at least for the time being.
