There’s a Zelda Nintendo Direct coming tomorrow – but not from Nintendo…
Nintendo Directs are often used by the publisher to spread news about announced games, reveal brand new titles and, from time to time, to provide a platform for indie developers. So is there anything more fitting than holding a Nintendo Direct to showcase a Nintendo title from an indie studio?
Fan Nintendo Direct to Ocarina of Time PC Port
That’s probably what the developers behind the PC version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time thought, who without further ado want to hold their own variant of a Nintendo Direct to announce new information about their game. In fact, the team already held this “Ship of Harkinian Direct”. a few times in the pastand it’s always interesting to see the progress the developers have made.
The next Direct will take place tomorrow, on September 30 at 3 a.m. German time. While that will probably be a bit too late for most users, the ten minutes of news and updates promised by the developers can easily be viewed retrospectively by interested parties.
The PC port of Ocarina of Time has actually been playable since March of this year, however the developers are still working on releasing new features for the game. For example, the title already has the option to mute sat nav. You can get the game client on the project’s official Discord server.
