Bungie, IO Interactive and Ubisoft want to bring Stadia saves to the PC

Stadia will be retired in January 2023. Many players are now worried about their scores. Some development studios have now made it their task to save these hard-earned saves and transfer them to the PC.

So players can keep going

These three studios are Bungie, Ubisoft and IO Interactive. According to Ubisoft, they are currently working on transferring their own games to the PC via Ubisoft Connect. There is no timetable for this yet, players will have to wait for more specific details.

Hitman developer IO Interactive is also currently looking for ways to bring Agent 47 to other platforms. Bungie is also taking steps to catch all Destiny 2 players on Google Stadia. More information on this will not be available until the developer has created an action plan.

Stadia: Google denies imminent discontinuation

On Thursday, September 29th, Google announced that the game streaming service Stadia would be discontinued in January 2023. While players can get a refund for Stadia Controller, Stadia Founder’s Edition, Stadia Premiere Edition, or the Play and Watch with Google TV Package, and can also get money back for games and add-on content purchased from the Stadia Store, the game saves are unfortunately lost.

It is still possible to play on Google Stadia until January 18th. By then, more developers may have laid out a battle plan for how players can secure their hard-earned saves.
