This is how it went: With his likeable nature and his Fortnite skills, he was able to retain viewers in the long term and by November 2019 he already had over 200,000 followers on Twitch and achieved partner status. Then came the switch to the Microsoft platform Mixer.

At the time, esports expert Rod Breslau advised professional teams to sign Ewok quickly. That’s exactly what happened: In July 2020, Ewok joined the e-sports organization FaZe Clan. At that time still as the first female member.

Shortly thereafter, in August 2020, Ewok returned to Twitch and peaked at up to 30,000 concurrent viewers – more than ever before.

There were also big changes in my private life: On October 11, 2020, Ewok came out as trans and bisexual to mark National Coming Out Day. in one TwitLonger post Ewok announced that he wanted to be addressed with male pronouns and how he had struggled with his identity in the past.

What happened then? As of November 2020, Ewok’s viewership steadily decreased and Ewok began streaming less. In December 2020 he was still on the air for more than 100 hours, in February 2021 it was only 46.

After that, Ewok only streamed very occasionally. But then Ewok discovered the hero shooter Apex Legends for himself. Ewok seemed to be enjoying streaming again. Unfortunately, viewers stayed away and Ewok even lost followers.

In November 2021, Ewok left FaZe Clan but streamed more than 70 hours. He was able to keep that up the following month, but soon Ewok streamed less again. From May to July 2022 he was no longer active on Twitch at all.

Ewok continued to reach out to his fans on Twitter, sharing on September 15, 2022 that there would be a major announcement the following week. The announcement was apparently supposed to have something to do with a contract.

How is it now? In August, Ewok streamed 27 hours and peaked at over 14,000 concurrent viewers. In September, however, both the number of hours streamed and the number of viewers decreased again.

However, it should be borne in mind that Ewok still goes to school, so there is not always time for streaming (via Twitter).

It remains to be seen how things will continue for the former Fortnite prodigy. In any case, he hasn’t lost his skills:
