PlayStation hero Sackboy is hopping to PC soon!

That happened quickly: Sony has announced a PC version of its 3D platformer hit “Sackboy: A Big Adventure”, which was only released at the end of 2020 together with the PS5. PC gamers are already hopping on October 27th.

Like other PlayStation releases on the PC, “Sackboy: A Big Adventure” should also experience visual improvements – including 4K resolution and high frame rates of up to 120 frames per second. The PC version will also support Nvidia’s AI upscaler DLSS, variable refresh rates and extra-wide gaming monitors. The publication for the PC is part of a new Sony strategy, in which gaming activities are no longer concentrated solely on the PlayStation console, but – with a time lag to the PlayStation version – increasingly also published in-house productions for the PC. Previously had Sony has already released “Horizon: Zero Dawn”, “Days Gone” and “God of War” for the PC – all big hits on the PS4, which also attract many PC gamers on Steam, for example.
