Breaking: Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and other Witcher games officially confirmed
Cyberpunk 2077 will not get any more story DLCs after Phantom Liberty, that much is already clear. Of course, this was disappointing for many fans who wanted more stories from the cyberpunk universe. But now it could also be clear why the CD Projekt Red development team drew the line so quickly: because the team is already working on the next part.
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a sequel
In a strategy update, the developer presented, among other things, the new project codenamed Orion, which is to become a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and is being developed by CD Projekt Red itself. Not much more is known about the new title, only that it is supposed to exploit the “full power and potential of the cyberpunk universe”. The release is also still unknown, but we will probably have to wait at least a few more years until the successor appears.

Until then, Cyberpunk 2077 should of course not simply be left lying around, even if there will be no more story DLCs. Among other things, the development team plans to revise the police AI in the future, as well as to improve vehicle combat and the melee system. More about the planned Cyberpunk changes can be found here.
