ESO: Everything about the new DLC Firesong and the content for 2022

The new DLC Firesong of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online was presented in the live stream on September 30th. Here on MeinMMO you can find out everything about the new content of Firesong and Update 36.

When is Firesong coming out? The release of the new zone DLC is scheduled for November 1st on PC/Mac and Stadia. It will be released for Playstation and Xbox on November 15th.

Firesong continues High Isle’s questline, concluding the “Breton Legacy” narrative, making it the final DLC for 2022.

In Firesong you can discover the island of Galen and Y’ffelon. They belong to the Systren archipelago and lie north of the high island. You will find 3 different biomes in the new area.

The prologue quest “The Lingering of the Druid King” for Firesong is already on the live servers. You can find them in the Crown Store under Quests – Prologues. You will receive an emote as a reward for completing the quest.

Here is an overview of the innovations from Firesong:

  • new area: Galen
  • new story content for the tale “Breton Legacy”
  • 6 new item sets
  • 3 new mythical items
  • new Patron deck: The Druid King (in the Tavern game Tales of Glory)
  • new collectibles and colors

You’ll run into familiar faces in Firesong

You can look forward to familiar faces from Ascending Tide, Summersend and the Thieves Guild.

You’ll soon be able to pet cute animals in ESO

In the new area you can now pet animals. For the achievement “Adventure’s best friends” you have to pat quite a few four-legged friends.

These changes affect all players

Regardless of the new DLC, the base game will get some new features or changes with Update 36. These affect all players, regardless of whether they own the DLC or not. Here is an overview for you:

  • Chinese language support
  • New target marking system that allows you to mark allies, enemies, and yourself with an icon
  • Hiding companions in towns
  • Arsenal Tables in PvP Zones (Cyrodiil & Imperial City)
  • New scaling for the Emperor in Cyrodiil. This then scales with the number of castles owned by the alliance
  • Facilities list for visited homes
  • Text-to-speech integration in chat
