Fortnite: Update 22.10 is here – these are the patch notes with the changes
Fortnite is receiving the 10/22 update. The new patch is ready after a downtime: The Battle Royale shooter surprisingly went offline last night. The developers had to bring the downtime forward because of an error – the plan was for the maintenance to start today at the usual time. The patch notes are now available and with them details of the changes and innovations. New here is the Cobra DMR with great range. In addition, the Collection of unlockable containers around holo chests expanded. The advantage: The chests show the contained item in advance in a preview. So you can decide whether to unlock it or not.
Gauntlet is back
“Looking for something exotic? If you’re too far from a vendor, use two keys to open an exotic holo-chest! Exotic holo chests contain an exotic item and, as you might have guessed, they display a holographic preview of the item,” the developers write gripping glove return. What can’t you sculpt out of chrome?” writes Epic Games in the Patch Notes. And: from that October 6th are superlevel styles of this season available. In Chapter 3 – Season 4, progress beyond level 140 and unlock the Cosmic, Spectral, and Noble styles for Bytes, Lennox Rose, Paradigm (Reality-659), Bonecat, and Spider-Gwen.
