The banter between the NfS Twitter channel and the Codemasters account is also striking. A user asks if the NfS account would like to confirm the announcement this week. The only answer is an eye emoticon. The Codemasters account answers followed by “Quit Need for Sp… oh”. Then there is the EA account to and asks: “Do you think they are ready?”. According to unconfirmed rumors, racing game fans should be able to start this year, because Need for Speed: Unbound should be available in stores on December 2nd.

A trailer is slated for release this week that is approximately 90 seconds long and features a soundtrack by American rapper A$AP Rocky. There was also a supposed gameplay leak for the game some time ago, which revealed that the new NfS part would also come up with comic elements. The rumor mill also agreed that Need for Speed: Unbound will feature multiplayer-focused meetups and maps that are said to be “completely unique” to the NfS franchise.
