The “city rebuilding game” WW2 Rebuilder will start in Early Access next week on Steam, as the Polish developers of Madnetic Games recently announced. In addition, the game’s free Germany Prologue, in which you rebuild Hamburg, has been very popular with players since its release in July.

City building games, where you develop a magnificent civilization on empty and uninhabited areas, are nothing special anymore. One of the best-known representatives would be the entire Anno series, Cities: Skylines should also be mentioned. More unusual are games in which you have to rebuild cities after they have been destroyed, such as after a destructive event, which includes wars.

WW2 Rebuilder is going full steam ahead

Exactly this topic is dedicated to WW2 Rebuilder from Madnetic Games. As a result of World War II, many European cities were completely or temporarily destroyed and players must now have the tools in hand to reverse this state of affairs. Since July 26 of this year, interested parties have been able to participate in the reconstruction of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg free of charge WW2 Rebuilder: Germany Prologue dedicate. With heavy equipment, players must clear debris out of the way and reach for the rocks themselves to rebuild fallen walls. The developers of Madnetic Games want to release the version of the game that they previously promised and gradually enrich it with more updates. At least that’s the wording in the Early Access Release Announcement. In order for fans of WW2 Rebuilder to know how the title will continue, the developers will publish a roadmap with future content in good time.
