The membership program Sony PlayStation Stars it’s now released in North and South America, though some fans must get on a waiting list for “about two months” after signing up.

Sign-ups are now available through the PlayStation app and on the PlayStation website, Sony said, though new members will be accepted on a regular basis. “keep going” and some should expect to be “randomly placed on the waiting list”.

It’s unclear if this same system will be available when PlayStation Stars launches in the UK, mainland Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The same page hasn’t been updated for UK users yet, but will likely be when our launch begins on October 13.
