Pokémon Go: A Cosmic Companion – Special Research Guide

From now on, all Pokémon Go trainers will receive the special research “A Cosmic Companion” from Professor Willow. This is about the Season of Light Special Research, which is split into three parts. The first part has now become available on September 1st, 2022 and includes the first four steps and rewards for a total of ten steps. Part 2 will be activated on October 5th, 2022, part 3 will come on November 23rd, 2022just before the end of the Season of Light.

Because special research linked to events or seasons is more often tied to catching specific pocket monsters, we encourage you to tackle the first steps of “A Cosmic Companion” soon so that you don’t hit any stoppers later because of the Hardly any Psychic-type Pokémon spawned in the wild at the time. Below you can find all known steps and rewards of Pokémon Go’s “A Cosmic Companion”. We’ll update the guide as more steps become known.

A cosmic companion – step 1/10

• Catch 15 Pokemon – Reward: 5 x Raspberries

Keep in mind that you can definitely secure Cosmog this way. Cosmog is the first Legendary Pokemon to have an evolution, Cosmovum. And Cosmovum is likely to evolve into Solgaleo or Lunala during the Season of Light.
