Microsoft Flight Simulator: Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master ready for action

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

The Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master military training aircraft is now available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator in-game shop.

The extensive range of aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator is now being expanded to include the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master military aircraft. The twin-engine training aircraft first entered service in 2004 and is used by the air forces of Italy, Israel, Singapore and Poland.

Powered by two Honeywell turbofan engines delivering a total of 5,715 kg of thrust, the Master reaches a top speed of just over Mach 1 at 1,255 km/h, a rate of climb of 6.71 km/min and a range of 1,931 km.

In addition, the very agile high-performance aircraft enables precise high-end maneuvers such as rolls, loops or inverted flight at low altitudes thanks to its responsiveness.
