Pilotwings 64 will arrive on October 13 for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

As announced last month, Pilotwings 64 will come to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has since confirmed that it will be released for subscribers starting on October 13.

The game was first released in 1996 for the Nintendo 64, Pilotwings 64 is a flight simulator game with six playable characters piloting different ships like a gyrocopter, hang glider, etc. in 3D environments. The goal is to complete the flight tests and earn a flight badge. You can also access mini-games like Cannonball and Sky Diving, as well as numerous challenges.

Praised for its visuals and concept, Pilotwings 64 it was one of three launch titles for the console. It sold over a million units and even received a sequel, Pilotwings Resort, on the Nintendo 3DS. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
