Silent Hill Movie Director Claims Konami Has Several Games In Development

The director of the Silent Hill movie has claimed that Konami has “several” games in development related to the same franchise.

The comments were made during a recent video interview in French (translated by Resetera), in which director Christophe Gans stated that various Silent Hill games are currently being developed by various teams.

Gans directed the 2006 film Silent Hill and reportedly wrote the script for a new production.

“I know a little about him. [próximo juego de Silent Hill]. I work with Silent Team, the original creators. I work in collaboration with Konami.” would have said.

“I’m working with Silent Team, the original creators of Konami, there are several games in development as we speak, there are several teams on it, with a great lineup of games, they will revive the franchise, I think they were really impressed by the success of the remakes of Resident Evil which are obviously exceptional games.

When the interviewer asked who is developing the games, Gans replied: “It’s Konami, there are several games”.

The director’s comments coincide with various media reports about Konami’s upcoming plans for Silent Hill, but it’s unclear if he’s corroborating the stories or simply repeating them.
