Obviously, this order is solid and will give the team at Studio Pierrot time to explore Kubo’s story. It’s no secret that his Thousand Year Blood War arc is complex, after all. The story started after the original Bleach anime ended, which is why Kubo said earlier that he was no longer tied to things that the animators could handle easily enough. That’s why the final act of the manga features some truly epic fights, and we’ll soon be able to see them on screen.
Of course, if you’re not up to speed on Bleach, there are a few ways to catch up. The show streams on Hulu exclusively in the United States, so the original anime can be streamed there in its entirety. And once the new Ichigo anime launches on October 10, the series will be simulcast in the US via Hulu.
