Overwatch 2: All information about the upcoming Halloween event

Overwatch 2 has been available for a few days now. The initial starting difficulties, such as extremely long queues, were pretty much gotten under control by Blizzard. However, the complaints about other bugs in the game, as well as about the rather controversial Battle Pass and the general monetization of the hero shooter remain. If Blizzard is yet to convince their player base that Overwatch 2 is worth playing, what better time than the upcoming Halloween event, Junkerstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride.

This is what awaits you in Junkerstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride

The event will be familiar to players of the first installment, but this time Overwatch 2 will allow users to play as different characters. In addition, there are of course a few new skins and a revised game mode.

Junkerstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride runs from October 25th to November 8th this year. The original Overwatch featured a new four-player PvE mode. Blizzard has in their blog post doesn’t explain exactly how the Halloween event in Overwatch 2 will play out, but from the images provided, it’s safe to assume that this time players will be able to explore some kind of cursed castle. Also, Sombra will presumably get an appearance as the villain.

In terms of heroes, the new characters Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko are available for Junkerstein’s Revenge, as well as the well-known Ashe. It’s not yet known if players will need to unlock Kiriko in the Battle Pass in order to play her in the event, but we can hope for the best.
