Fans ask Nintendo that the Spanish dubbing does not include influencers in the Super Mario Bros.
Recently released the new Super Mario Bros movie trailer at New York Comic Con. However, despite the criticism that has rained down on Mario’s voice played by actor Chris Pratt, fans ask Nintendo that the Latin Spanish dubbing does not include influencers or singers.
We have seen some movies based on video games that instead of hiring a dubbing professional, they choose an influencer for this and the results have been disastrous. After the premiere of the trailer, many fans started a thread on Twitter with the concern that the dubbing in Spanish is not a disaster, you can see some below:
Milk the trailer for the Super Mario movie, and if they keep the dubbing actors of the trailer it will be brutal. Please, please, please don’t put randoms, keep the professionals

Oh how cool the Super Mario Movie trailer. The animation is very cool and in Spanish the dubbing is very cool (more elaborate than Pratt’s voice in English in the case of Mario)
Please @Universal_Spaindo not change these stupendous actors for influencers from three to a quarter

I would not be very excited about the dubbing of the Super Mario movie. Surely later they change to celebrities, youtubers or influencers without any training in dubbing. I hope I’m wrong!

What worries me about the Super Mario movie is who is going to do the dubbing, and it’s a shame because here we have very good dubbing actors, so that influencers or singers who are a fucking fad do it later. I’m seeing that I will see the movie in the original version.

I’M FED UP! That the Illumination movies only put startalents!
Let Super Mario be the exception… except for Joaquín Cosió. THAT HE IS A BOWSER! pic.twitter.com/wmcEcCneor

Rather it should be “We don’t want influencers who play startalent”
Many startalents are actors, and those have never done a bad job, the pros of dubbing say it well, to do dubbing, you must first be an actor– Raul_ElFilósofo (@rulo_elmasley) October 7, 2022
This film is aimed at a child audience, it would be necessary to find out which dubbing studio got the contract for the film; but, if you don’t want to listen to startalent, watch subtitled and if you don’t want to read, learn the original language. 🙂
