The big update at Clash of Clans lets Trymacs spin freely. He puts thousands of euros into the mobile game and now wants even more from his fans.

Hamburg – If you’ve been following Trymacs for a while, it’s no secret that the Twitch streamer also likes to play a mobile game. Getting started with Clash Royale, Trymacs can still be seen digging into the latest updates to Clash of Clans to this day. To speed up his progress, Trymacs spends 2,000 euros in Clash of Clans, but to no avail. Now he wants another 12,000 – and scrounges from his fans on Twitter.

Trymacs pays 2,000 euros for Clash of Clans update – Wants another 12,000 from fans

What happened? Clash of Clans has had an update – a big one at that. With the town hall level 15 even more upgrades can be made, but they don’t have such a good effect on the wallet if you want them immediately. Mobile games often have pay-2-win mechanics that speed up progression when real money is used to buy benefits. For example, a level-up to 15 would take 20 days – but the waiting time can sometimes be avoided with real money. It would cost around 30 euros to skip the 20-day waiting period.

With the “Power of Pay-2-Win“ Trymacs wants to set a new trophy record. that the wholecompletely stupid” is, the 28-year-old knows himself. Due to a price increase in the App Store and in the Play Store, the Gems in the game (the premium currency) have become even more expensive: “As a Mobile-Pay-2-Win player you notice the inflation‘ the streamer complained on YouTube. After 2,000 euros, the streamer complains on Twitter that he has made little progress and needs another 12,000 euros to bring his account to the maximum level. We have included his tweet about it here.

No real donations: However, Trymacs does not ask for real donations. All he requires is that his fans enter the appropriate Creator Code in Clash of Clans. This gives him 5 percent of all transactions that the respective player makes in Clash of Clans. He promises that any revenue generated by the Creator Code will go directly into his account. How much gets around is left to the streamer. Trymacs complains about new Twitch rules that ensure that the top earners on the platform get less money.

Trymacs wants to spend 14,000 euros on Clash of Clans – Twitter turns up its nose

These are the reactions: Some fans don’t like the huge sums that Trymacs wants to invest in a mobile game. They rant below his tweet, asking how to “so much money for pointlessness“ can spend. While some fans find this behavior “pathetic,” the Twitch streamer is defended by his most loyal fans. As an influencer, Trymacs has more money at his disposal and probably earns even more from the content he creates from it. ChefStrobel and BigSpin – also companions from his Clash Royale heyday – joke under the tweet and enjoy the comments section.

is this gambling With the casino ban on Twitch, FIFA pack openings continue to be criticized. For many Twitch users, opening digital packets that contain something useful for real money is too close to gambling. Trymacs’ CoC adventure is also reminiscent of gambling, although here you’re less concerned with getting random items. The definition of gambling only applies here to a limited extent. Take a look at a Trymacs video and see for yourself.

Still, some fans see a dangerous trend behind FIFA pack openings and such Clash of Clans reinpay marathons. With over €21,000 in FIFA 23 and a projected €15,000 in Clash of Clans, there is concern that impressionable fans will see some sort of normalcy and follow suit, despite Trymacs’ warnings. How much is behind it, however, is difficult to prove off the cuff.
