The PS5 has long been a hassle-free purchase from Alternate, even when other retailers ran out of supplies. Is there a well-stocked console bundle again today?

Update from 08.10.2022, 09:25 a.m.: Alternate often had full PS5 warehouses for weeks, and there was always a bundle from the dealer. The fresh supply from yesterday Friday is now sold out. However, we assume that Alternate will soon be offering the Sony console again.

Update from 10/07/2022, 10:01 am: Alternate also has the new bundle in stock this Friday. After the short PS5 shortage, you can secure the console again directly without competing with other hunters. Here you buy it new PS5 offer at Alternate.

Update from 06.10.2022, 10:15 a.m.: That didn’t take long. A new PS5 offering has just become available at Alternate. It includes the official FIFA 23 bundle with the PS5 disc version, Gran Turismo 7 and the Logitech Gaming G935 headset for €909.00.

By the way, with Alternate, drops sometimes last for days or longer. The last big bundle was continuously available for more than a month. Should the new bundle show up as sold out, stay alert if you’re interested in it. It may well be that it will be available again or even several times afterwards.

Update from October 6th, 2022, 8:30 a.m.: Unbelievable, but true – after more than a month of continuous availability, the expensive headset bundle at Alternate is actually sold out. It is currently not possible to foresee when there will be fresh supplies here again, but the PS5 at Alternate was recently also available at regular intervals apart from the aforementioned “long-term representative” (albeit only in larger bundles). We assume that there will be new offers for the coveted console again in the course of October.

Update from 05.10.2022, 08:51: Also this week the PS5 bundle is still available at Alternate. However, the surcharge is still the same. At €949.00, the retailer has already dropped €50, but the price is still hefty for the content offered in the bundle. The console normally costs €550, the headset €250 and the game is now consistently available for just under €40. If you don’t mind shelling out an extra 100 bucks, you can definitely hit Alternate.

This is how it is about replenishment at Alternate: Since listing on August 30th, this bundle has been consistently available on Alternate – until now. Other PS5 offers are currently unavailable.

As a rule, however, there are smaller quantities of consoles several times a month, which are sometimes available continuously for days or are always available in small batches. However, Alternate does not have a fixed drop tag. In principle, replenishment can come on any day of the week – both in the morning and in the evening and also at the weekend.

Buy PS5 at Alternate – You should know that

The problem with Alternate: As already mentioned, this retailer usually only sells the coveted PlayStation 5 in large bundles with many or expensive accessories. The console often comes bundled with other games, headsets, controllers or other accessories. The prices are usually quite high, but often (though not always) justified. Here the purchase is really only worthwhile if you still need accessories anyway and can really do something with the enclosed things. Otherwise you should look elsewhere for the console – for example in our PS5 live ticker, with which you will not miss any relevant drop.

Bundles are also always sold drop by drop at Alternate. If an offer is displayed as no longer available, the matter is not over yet. It can be and is even very likely that the corresponding bundle will appear again later. Only when the offer is completely deleted and the page can no longer be found is the bundle really sold out.
