Apex Legends October 13 update patch notes: fixes for Devotion skins, Loba skin, and more Dexerto

Respawn Entertainment released another patch for Apex Legends, this time with fixes for Devotion skins, a Legendary Loba skin, and more.

Apex Legends is currently in the midst of its Fight or Fright event, where players can take part in a variety of events for a limited time.

However, that hasn’t stopped developer Respawn Entertainment from releasing patches to fix some issues affecting players.

Now, Respawn has released another small patch for Apex Legends that fixes issues related to two Devotion skins, a Loba skin, and in-ring visual bugs.

Apex Legends October 13 Patch Notes

The patch notes come from Respawn’s official Twitter. billwhich featured everything coming in the October 13, 2022 patch.

First off, the patch re-enabled two Devotion skins that were previously causing issues for some players: the legendary Bound in Bone skin and the legendary Dragon’s Spine.

It appears that both of these skins were briefly disabled and pulled from the store to prevent further issues from occurring until Respawn could release this patch.

Next, the patch notes restored the “Elegant Aesthetic” Legendary Loba skin for players, as some players reported the skin missing from their library entirely despite owning it.

Finally, this patch apparently “resolved the blurring outside the ring” that the player base has been complaining about for some time now.

For those who haven’t experienced the bug, it would trigger when players entered the damaging ring and cause a harsh, blurry glow, making it impossible to see and fight inside the ring.

Fortunately, it seems that this issue has finally been resolved. Additionally, it appears that Respawn also added new healing sound effects to the game, to coincide with the new animations.

That seems to be all that was added and fixed with the October 13, 2022 update. Hopefully, players can now enjoy the Fight or Fright and Shadow Royale event with fewer issues.
