Asobo Studio begs Plague Tale: Requiem fans not to post spoilers
A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released next week and is a direct sequel to the highly acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence, stealth adventure 2019 Asobo Studio. Ahead of the release, the developer has asked fans to avoid posting spoilers on social media.
Through the game’s Twitter account, the creators ask those who can receive the game well before launch not to publish parts of the story. This is so that everyone can enjoy the full story.

“We kindly ask you not to mess up the game so everyone can enjoy the full story of Requiem.” However, she isn’t opposed to discussions of the title, as she loves “seeing you chatting about the Plague Tale universe and treasure interacting with you so much. We keep the community close to our hearts and that’s why we want everyone to respect everyone and let themselves experience the game to the fullest.”
Meanwhile, those looking to avoid spoilers can mute or filter words like “A Plague Tale“, “Plague Tale”, “Amicia”, “Hugo”, etc. Although no major leaks have been reported, it seems that some players may receive the physical version before the worldwide launch. Asobo noted, “If some of you receive a boxed version of the game before the release date, we strongly recommend that you wait for our day one patch to experience the game in better conditions!”
A Plague Tale: Requiem It’s due out on October 18 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch (via the cloud).
