Cyberpunk 2077: This PC mod turns you into a cyberpsycho like in Edgerunners

In Cyberpunk 2077 we hunt Cyberpsychos, in Edgerunners we learn more about them.

While there are quite a few cyberpsychos in Cyberpunk 2077, we can’t become one ourselves. It works in the pen and paper template though, and thanks to a PC mod, it’s now possible in-game too. If you want to risk your humanity with too much cyberware, you can now really take off – just like in the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Cyberpunk 2077 fan builds in possibility to become a cyberpsycho

New mod introduces humanity: Cyberpunk fan and modder DJKovrik has created a mod for Cyberpunk 2077 that will allow us to become a cyberpsycho. This works via a new character stat called Humanity. Anyone who played the Shadowrun games or the Pen and Paper original knows the principle. The more you modify your body with cyberware, the more you lose your humanity. When it eventually reaches 0, you become a cyberpsycho.

What is a cyberpsycho? This is a person who is suffering from what is known as cyberpsychosis. You deal less critical damage and suffer from severe visual glitches and image distortions, but you regenerate health faster, move faster and have a higher armor value.

You can also counteract: If you don’t feel like the annoying side effects, you can also throw heaps of neuroblockers into your system. The new type of injectors are also introduced with the mod and remove the negative side effects of the loss of humanity. The loss of points is also temporarily stopped. You can buy them from Ripperdocs or craft them yourself.
