Elden Ring DLC coming soon? Notes in update 1.07!

This title knocks Elden Ring off the sales chart throne in July (2)

Patch 1.07, a brand new update for From Software’s Elden Ring, was released today. This time there are different changes depending on whether you’re playing the PvE or PvP aspect of the title. For example, patch 1.07 introduces different damage scaling for PvP, so weapons, abilities, and everything else can now be customized separately for player versus game combat. For PvE players, this means they can now play the strongest and most interesting builds without fear of From Software nerfing them due to their strength in PvP.

Elden Ring update rebalances and hints at a DLC

Among other things, the new patch has already reduced the strength of almost every Ashes of War in PvP. Otherwise, the update includes a number of changes, adjustments to the balancing, and of course various bug fixes. For example, some spells are now much cheaper and some attacks are performed faster.

These changes are pretty nice on their own, but patch 1.07 could also include hints about the title’s first DLC. As Lance McDonald Namely writes on Twitter, the game files mention two new maps since the patch, m20 and m45. Noisy Dataminer Sekiro Dubi m45 is something brand new, while m20 shares commonalities with the game’s legacy dungeons.

Some players are understandably assuming these new maps are content for a potential DLC. After all, it is not too unlikely that a first DLC to Elden Ring (buy now €44.99 / €53.99 ) also brings a few new towns with it. In addition, there are also a few, by the way Novelties for a coliseum from Elden Ring, maybe players in the DLC will finally be able to enter this too.
