from Rhonda Bachman
From Software’s latest action RPG Elden Ring has received a new patch. Update 1.07 brings a lot of adjustments that should provide a better balance. PvP friends can also expect a new separate damage scale for the mode.

Elden Ring has received a new update from its developers. The action role-playing game was released on February 25th, 2022 and will receive regular updates. With patch 1.07 countless balancing adjustments are coming to the players. In addition, separate damage scaling has been added to the RPG as a new feature for PvP mode.

New update with balancing adjustments for all modes

The new separate damage scaling will be introduced as a new add-on feature for Elden Ring PvP touted. This adjusts weapons, abilities, spells, and summons when playing against another player. In the future, this feature could also be used to balance weapons, spells, and summons in invasions or PvP. The adjustments within this new feature should not affect single player or co-op games.

However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any customizations for Elden Ring’s other modes. Patch 1.07 also added major balancing changes to both the PvE and PvP aspects of the game, as well as adjustments that affect all modes. In PvE and PvP, there is now increased posture damage for two-handed normal attacks. In addition, the speed of some colossal or gigantic weapons has been increased. However, the speed and hit detection of crouch and roll attacks on giant swords have been reduced.
