House of the Dragon: This character is better than in the book!

House of the Dragon Season 1 is currently heading towards its grand finale, which begins on Sept October 23, 2022 will be seen. As fans around the world debate the current events of the series, the writer spoke up George RR Martin personally with one of the actors – and gave him a lot of praise.

George RR Martin famously wrote the novel “Fire&Blood” (English: “Fire and Blood”), on which the House of the Dragon series is based. Like actors Paddy Considine revealed in an interview with GQ magazine, he received a short but moving text message from Martin praising his portrayal of the king Viserys Targaryen was.

“I received a text message that said, succinctly, ‘Your Viserys is better than my Viserys’. It came from George RR Martin. And I thought: That’s enough. Thanks for your trust.”

In the interview, Considine explained of that enormous pressure, which he largely imposed on himself in order to embody the role of Viserys Targaryen as credibly as possible. Sometimes he even had some doubts about himself encouraging message by George RR Martin built him up morally and helped a lot. The fans agree with him, by the way, because they also give him a lot of praise for his acting performance in House of the Dragon.
