New Dragonball multiplayer game coming out tomorrow, looks like Dead by Daylight

Dragonball: The Breakers will be released tomorrow, October 14th. This is not, as usual, a fighting game in the Dragon Ball world, but an asymmetrical multiplayer.

When will Dragon Ball: The Breakers be released? The official release date of the new Dragon Ball game is 10/14/2022. It was first announced in November 2021.

The game will be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s also with the PS5 and the Xbox Series X | S compatible, but there is no separate version for it yet.

Escape from Dragon Ball villains with Normalos

What awaits you in the game: The world of Dragonball is known for its overpowering characters like Son Goku or Vegeta, but also villains like Freeza, Boo and Cell.

The latter also occupy an important part in The Breakers. One of them acts as a “robber” in a game round and faces 7 figures that have to flee from him.

However, these “survivors” are not strong Saiyajin, but figures such as the little pig Oolong, Bulma, the farmer or self-created characters.

So it’s not a duel, but a race for bare survival – very similar to Dead by Daylight, where you try as a survivor to escape gruesome killers.

A total of 8 players play in a round – a powerful robber and 7 “normal people”. Both sides can rely on different skills.

Civilians can: You can create your own civilians and try to reach the “Super Time Machine” to escape before Freeza, Cell or Boo finish you off. To do this, players must collect Power Keys and defend the machine’s starting system to get away at the end.

You can also use gadgets and abilities to defend yourself. For example, you can blind the robber with a sun fist, or use Transspheres and Dragon Polymorph to launch abilities like Son Goku’s Kamehame-Ha at the robbers.

But most of the time you are on the run. You can then rely on different vehicles and the climbing hook. Last but not least, there is a camouflage mechanic – so that you look like a vase, for example, which the robber does not recognize.

What can robbers do? The three robbers are much, much more powerful than the civilians. They have several stages of development. As in the manga and anime, and aim to destroy the civilians. If you achieve new forms, you can even level entire areas of the map to the ground.

In addition, the robbers can destroy the super time machine’s starting system. Then the civilians have to try to call individual escape machines via flares.
