PlayStation Stars: Loyalty program now also launched in Germany - News

This content would not be financially viable without the premium users. But we urgently need more supporters: You can help too!

After Sony had already introduced the new loyalty program PlayStation Stars in Asian territories and the USA, the starting signal was given in Europe and thus also in Germany. Through the Stars program, you earn points by completing certain challenges. This ranges from simply launching any game for the first time in a month, to certain trophies, to being among the first to unlock a platinum trophy after the release of a new release. Completing the challenge earns you points. As an added benefit, PS Plus subscribers receive Stars Points on PlayStation Store purchases.

With the points collected in this way, you can redeem rewards such as PSN credit or selected games. This includes “digital collectibles” among the rewards. These are depictions of things and figures from games from Playstation history, such as the gondoliers Ape Escape 2which you can arrange in a virtual showcase.

The Stars program is not yet integrated into Sony consoles, so access is currently only available via the PlayStation App. Only accounts of adults are entitled to use the program. According to the website, the confirmation of the registration for stars can currently take up to 2 months.
