Shadowlands’ days are numbered! Players are celebrating the end of the current WoW expansion and are already looking forward to the new WoW: Dragonflight login screen with a farewell party on social media.

Like no WoW expansion before, Shadowlands was heavily criticized. The bumpy journey through the Maw left many players with a bitter taste in the night. Moderate story, no new challenges and a number of scandals ensured that the number of players plummeted. After all the escapades of the past two years, some WoW fans are celebrating the end of Shadowlands and are looking forward to new adventures on the Dragon Islands – if you want to indulge in it again, can yes in our shadowlands reckoning scroll.

WoW player named Shingaion posted a screenshot of the current WoW: Shadowlands login screen on Reddit and added a cheeky comment to the image: “Who’s looking forward to never seeing that login screen again?”
The post was very popular with WoW fans. Many players commented under Shingaion’s post that they are also celebrating the imminent end of Shadowlands and looking forward to seeing the Icecrown Citadel and Torghast image at World of Warcraft’s launch (buy now ) no longer have to see. Most want to leave the horrors of Shadowlands behind as quickly as possible.
But not all WoW fans agree with Shingaion. Some like Shadowlands’ gritty artwork and feel that Blizzard should let players choose which login screen they see when logging in. Most users actually want the loading screen back from the Wrath of the Lich King era. That atmospheric image of the Icecrown Citadel with the flight of Sindragosa is still one of the graphical highlights of World of Warcraft. What about you?
