Update 1.07 for Elden Ring has been released, brings an important new feature and may also contain hints about upcoming DLC.
The new feature affects in-game damage, which now scales independently of the rest of the game in PvP.
What does this feature bring?
This affects damage scaling for weapons, abilities, spells, and summons when fighting other players.
“In the future, this feature can be used to balance weapons, abilities, spells and summons in Invasion/PvP mode.” “Balance adjustments made as part of this feature will not affect single player or cooperative modes.”

At the same time, the update should contain information about new maps and ray tracing support.
“The latest update for Elden Ring adds menu items related to ray tracing functions,” writes modder Lance McDonald. “The update also contains references to two new maps that are not otherwise present in the game data.”
No additional content for Elden Ring has been officially announced yet. In view of the success, however, it would be very surprising if there were none.
The update also includes references to two new maps that do not yet otherwise exist in the game data.
