Ubisoft announces that the special Halloween event, dubbed “Web of the Jorogumo” will be available from October 20 until November 10. Along with the event, Phase 2 of the game cross platform is available now, allowing group play with friends or cross-platform players thanks to the Ubisoft Connect ecosystem. With this update, For Honor’s crossplay rollout is complete, and players will be able to invite others to their party even if they’re on a different platform..

The “Web of the Jorogumo” event It will kick off on October 20 and run for three weeks, bringing with it a terrifying four-player co-op PVE game mode. Players can enjoy a variation of Market Town where they must work together to escort Meiko, capture points, battle possessed samurai, and fight through Jorogumo’s sticky webs to a terrifying conclusion. With danger around every corner, players will have to be brave and show no mercy. Along with the new mode, a new Kensei Hero Skin, Yokai Slayer Meiko, will be available on October 20.

Players will have the opportunity to earn exclusive new rewards such as an effect, battle outfit, and decorations. New themed items will also be available in the in-game store for the duration of the event, including executions, outfits, a emote matched and more.

With the release of Title Update 2, there will be new armor variations available to players, as well as many improvements and updates to the game, including the final flow: players can now skip all notifications after a game. On November 17, a testing ground dedicated to Dodge attacks will be active until November 24.

The “Web of the Jorogumo” Event arrives as part of For Honor Year 6 Season 3 “The Demon Dagger”, in which an ancient cave unleashed spirits and demons from Japanese folklore on Heathmoor. Inspired by Yokai legends, this season introduced a new Battle Pass and Battle Pack, new Season Customization, and other exciting updates to For Honor.
