Resident Evil Village of Capcom will be receiving new content this month in the form of an expansion. Called Winters’ Expansion, it adds third-person mode, additional orders for mercenaries, and long-awaited story DLC. Shadow of Rose. Fortunately, according to reports, it won’t take up too much installation space.

PlayStation Game Size on Twitter notes that the expansion is 6,997 GB on PS5. The user monitors the PlayStation Network backend and has been pretty accurate with install sizes in the past. Lest we forget though, the base game required less than 28GB on PS5, so this is pretty much in line with expectations.

Retailing for $20, it provides approximately four hours of new story content in Shadow of Rose (which also introduces new mechanics). Additional Mercenary Orders provide three new playable characters, two new stages, and over 20 unlockables. Finally, the third person mode is a new way to play, which required as much effort as creating a new game according to the developer.
