Star Trek: Resurgence postponed to April 2023

Developer Dramatic Labs has pushed back the release of Star Trek: Resurgence to 2023.

The game, which was announced at the Game Awards last year, is now scheduled for release in April 2023 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

Why is it taking longer?

As reported by Dramatic Labs on Twitter, the development is progressing well, but they are taking a little more time for the fine-tuning.

“Our love and admiration for Star Trek is fundamental to this decision,” it said. “We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished to date and this continues to be a matter of the heart for everyone here. We’re incredibly grateful – and excited – to be able to work in a universe that means so much to so many people.”

What is Star Trek: Resurgence about?

Set after Star Trek: The Next Generation, Resurgence tells its story from the perspective of two different characters, First Officer Jara Rydek and Ensign Engineer Carter Diaz.

The story revolves around two civilizations on the brink of war, you uncover a dark secret about both of them.
